Sizes: ca.6 x 4.5 cm each.
A group of three rare rectangular lead plaquettes of Putti from the Workshop of Pankraz Labenswolf (1492-1563) working closely with Peter Flotner.with the attributes and names of the Muses: Terpsichore, Evterpa and Erato, used as goldsmith models.

Condition: The surface of two plaquettes are corroded but the details are still very sharp. The third one of “Terpsichore” is very fine.
Provenance: the estate of Dr. Jacob Hirsch, New York, (17 June 1874 in Altenkunstadt; † 24 June 1955 in Paris).
